Getting to Custer
You can get to Custer by both car and air. A small general aviation airport is located in Custer for small and private planes. The nearest commercial airport is located in Rapid City. If you are coming to Custer in a car the major highways are U.S. 16, 16A and US Highway 385. Custer is also accessible by South Dakota Highway 85, 89 and 87.
