If you like to vacation with your horses, Custer with its vast array of riding trails is the place for you.  There are a variety of accommodations available for you and your equine friends here. 

The Circle K Horse and RV Park conveniently located just 7 miles to the west of Custer, is surrounded by Black Hills National Forest. Currently there are 5 fully furnished cabins and 6 RV horse trailer campsites for guests.   Individual stalls for horses are also available. Circle K features on-site farrier service and for your convenience, tack and equine products are available in the ranch store. With easy access to the National Forest trails this is a great place to bring your equine partners and explore the beauty of the Southern Hills.

Dakota Dream Bed & Breakfast & Horse Hotel, located just 5 miles from the city of Custer, is situated on 20 pine covered acres. Whether you choose to stay in one of the beautifully decorated guest rooms or the little log cabin just down the hill from the main guest house you will enjoy the peacefulness of nature while remaining close to all the area attractions as well as delicious home cooked breakfasts. Double D Bed & Breakfast Cabins is a small facility where old fashioned western hospitality comes together with modern conveniences to make your stay in the hills a pleasurable and rewarding experience.  The rustic cabins are fully furnished and breakfast is served in the owner’s home.  Your horses will not be left out. There are large (50 X 50) pens with hay available as well as an onsite farrier.  With miles and miles of trails available to ride directly from your cabin, you will be able to experience the wonders of the Black Hills just like the early settlers.

French Creek Horse Camp
located within scenic Custer State Park, is designed specifically for campers with horses. This beautiful facility is close to Blue Bell lodge and features a creek as well as access to many riding trails   Tent sites, sites with electricity and a few cabins are available.  Each site comes with a corral for your equine friends.
