Custer Restaurant Week-Vegetarian & Gluten Free Options

The 2nd Annual Custer Restaurant Week will have more options for those on a vegetarian and/or gluten free diet than seen on the 2018 Restaurant Week menus.  For those with these dietary restrictions, or those just looking to try something new, here are a few delicious options.

Gluten Free Options
Black Hills Burger & Bun Co offers Udi’s Gluten Free Buns which can be substituted on all three of their Restaurant Week burger specials.

Pizza Mill has a 10” Gluten Free Crust option for their pizzas.  Their Restaurant Week pizza specials include the Smoked BBQ Brisket Pizza, Healthy Logger Pizza, and Chicken Alfredo Pizza.

Vegetarian Meal Choices
Black Hills Burger & Bun Co will allow you to substitute a black bean veggie burger for their Summer Roll or The Caprese burger specials during Restaurant Week.  The Summer Roll burger includes a pineapple slice, carrot jalapeno slaw, Thai peanut sauce, sweet chili sauce, and chopped mint and cilantro.  The Caprese has basil walnut pesto, tomato, fresh mozzarella, and barrel aged balsamic.

The Buglin’ Bull Restaurant & Sports Bar has a vegetarian option for lunch and dinner.  For lunch, the Cajun Chicken Linguine can be ordered without chicken.  For dinner, Option #4 is mushroom tacos-sautéed mushrooms with white wine, lemon garlic, and butter sauces, with wilted arugula, and port wine reduction.  This entrée also comes with an apple spinach salad with candied pecans, bleu cheese crumbles, and pomegranate seeds.  The dessert is a warm ginger caramel spice cake and the meal is paired with Wapiti Wheat.

Laughing Water Restaurant at Crazy Horse Memorial has a vegetarian option for lunch and dinner.  For lunch their ALT is a vegetarian version of a BLT-sliced avocado, cream cheese spread with tomato and lettuce served on multi-grain bread with choice of sweet potato or parmesan cheese fries.  For dinner you can get their Marina Vegetarian which is zucchini noodles with cherry tomatoes, fresh basil parmesan cheese coated with olive oil and steamed on the grill.

Pizza Mill has their Healthy Logger Pizza on the Restaurant Week menu.  This pizza has green and red bell peppers, onions, black olives, and mushrooms, layered with their House Pizza Cheese Blend.
